Case Solving Day

Nowadays, developing new skills, broadening horizons, expanding your CV is fundamental, and solving case studies is a fun and efficient way to do it. At our case solving trainings, you have the chance to learn battle-proven ways of how to solve complex business problems and how to present your solutions. To test them you will have the chance to analyse a case, and present your solution to our experienced trainers.

Key learning objectives

  • Learn the steps of breaking down and solving a complex problem
  • Structure your presentation professionally

Target audience

  • BA/BSc, Year 2-3, major in business
  • MA/MSc, Year 1-2, major or minor in business

Case Interview Day

Becoming a consultant is not an easy feat. You need to master the case interview, a live interaction where you are introduced to a business dilemma and are asked to analyse and solve it. To pull this off, you need to practice… a lot. At our trainings we help you with intuitive training materials developed by consultants from BCG, McKinsey & Co. and Roland Berger.

Key learning objectives

  • Clarify how consulting works and how to get in
  • Learn the essential frameworks for a consulting interview
  • Practice solving cases similar to the ones used live

Target audience

  • BA/BSc, Year 2-3, major in business
  • MA/MSc, Year 1-2, major or minor in business

Investment Banking Day

Investment Banking (IB) is among the most prestigious career paths business students can choose after graduation. Although steep learning curves, accelerated career paths, exceptional rewards and exit opportunities make banking an attractive choice, there are many mysteries and misconceptions about this industry. One should clarify these and practice for the interviews before applying – and this is exactly what we offer you at the Investment Banking Day!

Key learning objectives

  • Clarify how IB works and how to get in
  • Learn the essential frameworks for an IB interview
  • Practice solving cases similar to the ones used live

Target audience

  • BA/BSc, Year 3
  • MA/MSc, Year 1-2
  • Major in business, economics, finance or business analytics and strong quantitative background

Case Competitions

Case competitions have been organized on an invitational basis for decades, but they started becoming widespread recently with open competitions. We at Case Solvers organize three case competitions for different audiences. At Problema Solvenda, we introduce case solving to high school students via a history case. University students can use the acquired skills to compete for the Case Solver of the Year title (in Hungary only, for now). The crown jewel, Solvers’ Cup is the first international case competition hosted in Hungary with an online part where hundreds of teams compete from all around the globe!
